1. The service
TeraiTrade is a business directory and bulk trade platform connecting Nepali businesses with buyers. We provide the marketplace — listings, enquiries, RFQs, quotes, order tracking, and payments infrastructure. The actual sale of goods and services happens between the buyer and the listed business; TeraiTrade is not a party to those contracts.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Business listings
By listing a business you confirm you are authorised to represent it and that the information you provide (including registration and PAN/VAT details) is accurate. The "Verified" badge means we checked the registration details you submitted; it is not a guarantee of the business's performance. Listings imported from public data are marked "Unclaimed" until the owner claims them.
4. Bulk orders & commission
When a buyer accepts a quote, an order is created on the platform. A 3% commission on the confirmed order subtotal is payable by the supplier through eSewa or Khalti. Delivery terms, quality, and disputes over goods are between buyer and supplier; we encourage resolving them through the order's communication trail.
5. Subscriptions
Paid plans (including Gold) are billed monthly or yearly through eSewa or Khalti and activate on successful payment. Plan features are listed on the pricing page. Subscriptions are not auto-renewed silently — you are asked before each renewal payment.
6. Reviews & content
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. We may remove content that is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or unrelated to the business being reviewed. You retain ownership of content you post and grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
7. Acceptable use
No fake listings, no misleading product claims, no scraping of other users' contact details, no attempts to circumvent platform commissions after using the platform to find a counterparty, and no unlawful goods.
8. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Nepali law, Sarbatra Inc is not liable for losses arising from transactions between buyers and businesses, listing inaccuracies, or service interruptions.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu.
